Why Founders First?
When a couple is in trouble we know whom to call - a marriage counselor/relationship coach/couples’ therapist. But when founding teams at a startup are in trouble we often go the individual coaching route or aimless executive and leadership coaching.
Founders have a whole world to get into alignment - if they aren’t in alignment themselves, they’re turning something hard into something impossible.

quarterly support
Quarterly off-sites for leadership teams, whole teams, and deep diving on friction points. It’s easy for groups of people to bypass the hard work or disengage just to remove the weight. But these dysfunctions can be combatted with the right attention and willingness to smooth out those friction points. Not all are easily seen on the surface, but all can be addressed, provided that the desire to work is there.
Founder coaching (Individual)
If you are a founder and working to build your company but feel like you could use a coach yourself to build, manage, and work well with your team, we can find a path that makes sense for your personal growth.
Founder coaching (Group)
Consider me the Team’s Coach. I will meet the founding team individually, then as a group to assess what the current roadblocks are in the relationship/s. Every team is different so I will create a customized plan as to how those roadblocks can be effectively removed. Weekly calls with each team member and a quarterly group offsite are common.
Hi, I’m Rosalinda.
I’ve been doing high performance coaching for over 10 years, but before starting Founders First, I called it clinical therapy. I was focused on individual, marriage, and group therapy. I ran my own private practice in Mexico City during that time, working with all kinds of patients from military police to victims of kidnappings. Working with clients, we addressed mental health issues including (but not limited to) anxiety and depression, severe trauma (complex and situational), perinatal mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and more.
As a result of addressing these issues, they experienced skyrocketing careers and it was all due to the work which helped them reframe their definition of success and track towards it with intention.
I see that work to be of critical importance when we starts that new company, heal in our interpersonal and work relationships, and cultivates a renewed sense of self in all aspects of our lives. The work, has always been just a very good environment to highlight and surface these results.
